If we really want the change we need, we first need to change the language that we use. Instead of using a language that lends credibility and validates the present system by talking about who to vote for at the next general election, we should alter our language to support the need for a change to the system and demand the implementation of a resource based economy. Of course many people will find the idea too fantastic to take seriously, but then many people dismissed out of hand the notion of space travel. We have to start somewhere........
