If we started hosting open team penning and cow acclimation nights for $20 on Thursday evenings at 6:30pm who would be interested in attending? This is a night where novices and experienced riders alike would be able to come and learn about the basics of team penning, or even just acclimate their horse (whether a greenie, a trail horse, or a show horse of any type) to being comfortable near and around cows. The evening would start at 6 and go until dark. If there is enough support we may even purchase lights to continue into the fall. The night would be open, supportive, informal, and social. This would also be an opportune way to develop teams and practice to attend competitions through the year and winter at Circle C arena.
