If we take a look around us, we can see so many things, people and situations which can disappoint us. There are people arguing, there are wars going on, poverty is so vivid, corruption is everywhere, young people involved in crimes. We can probably have an endless list. Discouragement is all around us. But, our Sweet Lord, grant that in the small corner of this world where we belong, may we be the cause of encouragement to the people we meet each day. Instead of bringing a frown to their faces, may we put smiles upon them. By Your grace, may we be a builder of people with good hearts who can shine Your light and love to other people. The world has enough problems of her own, may we not add to it but rather, may we be the source of joy for her. Pour Your Spirit upon us Dearest Lord and make us sensitive to the needs of the poor, not only in financial aspect, but also in emotional, intellectual, and most especially, in spiritual. May we be channels of Your blessings to them. This we humbly pray with the heart of Mama Mary. Amen.
