If we value children we should value educators. My own comment on the petition:- Whilst I recognize the need for magazine covers to be attention grabbing, you seem on this occasion to have betrayed the balanced approach of your articles with potentially very damaging sensationalism. Why not live up to your generally very high standards and enjoy the publicity and respect that an apology would bring? To err is human, to apologize is to be forgiven.
