If we want to improve our urban and community forest, we will need to spend an additional $400-$500K a year. These improvements would be a substantial boost to our storm water system and would substantially improve our quality of life by providing shade, air quality, and natural beautiy benefits. If we do not find additional monies for these changes, they will not happen. I dont have exact figures yet, but the cost would, I believe, amount to less than $5/month. Let me know what you think.
