He described Ted as one of the kings meant to control society, and then bring the spoils of war to the priests, which will result in a great transfer of wealth. This is the Seven Mountains mandate cherished by some of the most extreme extremist Christians. This is the biblical interpretation in which seven culture-shaping areas of influence over each society-media, government, education, economy, family, religion, and celebration (arts and entertainment) are the keys to taking a nation for the kingdom of God. Ted Cruz appears to agree that hes a prophesied king. In July, dominionist pastors blessed and anointed Cruz as a king of the government area of influence. This is the same prophecy promoted by the lunatic David Barton, a Texas televangelist who recently claimed global warming is punishment from God -- and who is thinking about trying to join Ted Cruz in the Senate by challenging Sen. Cornyn in the GOP primary. Maybe Barton thinks hes a king too! Maybe theyll join together with Rand Paul, whos also been anointed as such, to form a King Caucus in the Senate. But think about this for a second. If Ted Cruz is a king, hes not really in the Senate for Texas, or for America. In fact, as a king, he must despise America -- he wants to take the nation for the kingdom of God. That means burn the Constitution; its time for law dictated by a slavery-endorsing, woman-hating, lobster-banning book from the Bronze Age. Reporters uncovered video recently of Rafael Cruz calling for President Obama to be sent back to Kenya. Pure, unfiltered insanity. In the last year, the senior Cruz has called marriage equality a socialist plot, compared the president to Fidel Castro, and said progressives are trying to destroy the concept of God. Its not a surprise that this is Sen. Cruzs ilk, but it is extremely worrying. Sorry, that should read king Cruz.
