If you are a child of God, you dont have to be afraid of anything evil. The devil is not equal to God. The devil is just a creation. God is the CREATOR! David said, ( Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear NO evil: for thou (God) art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.( Psalm 23:4 KJV Bible.) I know in some horror movies, they make it look like Satan is just as powerful as the Lord, but thats really not the case. ( Thou believest that there is one God: thou doest well: the devils also believe, and TREMBLE. ( James 2:19 KJV Bible) ) Did you see that? James said they TREMBLE!!!!! Im not saying Satan and his demonic forces arent powerful, ( Peter said he was like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8 ) im just saying he is not ALL powerful. A born again believer who is WALKING with the Lord and wearing the armor of God ( Ephesians 6) has nothing to fear. John said greater is HE ( The Lord) that is in you, than he that is in the world. ( 1 John 4:4 ) Jesus gave his followers power over the enemy ( Matthew 10:1 Mark 6:7 Luke 10:19 ) The apostle Paul said, ( That at the NAME of JESUS every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that JESUS CHRIST is LORD, to the glory of God the FATHER. ( Philippians 2:10-11 KJV Bible) The apostle Paul asked If God be for us, who can be against us? ( Romans 8:31 ) My friends, we have nothing to fear as long as we are in the will of God. ( Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy GOD, he it is that doth go with thee, he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. ( Deuteronomy 31:6 KJV Bible) ( Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will FLEE from you. ( James 4:7 KJV Bible)
