If you are a student, I bet you can relate to this. (Its a bit long but it is worthwhile). Fact that no one can ever change :) While eating on a fast food chain, I overheard the conversation of two female students. One of them said, Minsan ayoko na nga eh. Kapag nakikita ko na ganun lang yung score ko kahit na nag-aaral naman ako ng mabuti. Nakakapagod. As every word she uttered comes deeply in my mind, I started asking myself, “What can you say”? Honestly, I can truly relate to what that lady feels. The tone of her voice reflects the solitude in her heart. It’s like an echoing rant that bothers her and even all the other students who experience the same situation or any other failures. As I talk to myself regarding that matter, God made me realize few things. If I will give up because I am tired of the countless failures I have experienced, what will I do next? Do I think that it will help me succeed or even move a little forward towards my goal? Then, I shook my head. God wants to remind us of Hi certainty with His promises. He told us that He has a good plan for our future (Jeremiah 29:11). But He didn’t mentioned that it will come to us with just a blink of an eye. Meaning, heartaches and failures may really come along our way. But, it doesn’t mean that we have to give up or question God because of our situation. He let us experience a particular failure so that we won’t rely on our own capabilities alone. Maybe we already did our best and have asked God for guidance upon doing something, but still, we ended up failing. Well, I’m sure that God has a perfect purpose for letting that happen. Your life is like walking in the stairs. As you go up, you may stumble. But it doesnt mean that you have to stop moving forward! Remember, you are not yet on the finish line. When you decided to stop or just go down, you’ll never get a chance to experience reaching the goal. So, DON’T LOSE HOPE! Never remove your eyes from your goal. Even when you stumble, stand again and move further. God will always offer His hands to us every time we fall. Even though we are experiencing storms and not certain of what the future holds, His faithfulness to His promises gives us the assurance that His will for us is good, pleasing and perfect. And that, no one can ever change. :)
