If you are a veteran who uses veteran status to bully and belittle people on social media and say things like if you didnt serve you cant criticize or putting people on the spot asking when they served as some sort of gotcha....you are not only practicing behavior which has no earthy place in a free country you are also likely a glory seeking asshole. Im a vet and couldnt care less. The only time it ever comes up is when assholes try to catch me in the you must not have served bullshit..... Funny thing is, half the time the poster of the comment didnt even serve either. Its even more ridiculous if people use the service of a relative as an argument point... oh yeah, well my grandfather served! - type of thing or place tiers on the service levels of people ....well hes a vet but didnt serve during combat....so thats not a real vet This is America not a military dictatorship. People who served pledged to protect and defend the Constitution. The flag waiving propaganda has convinced some breed of asshole that veterans are some kind of super citizen with opinions more valuable than the rest of citizens. You aint special and neither am I. Every citizen has an equal right to an opinion. Seriously....stop with the chest thumping, ego centered, glory seeking, nationalistic bullshit....you sound like North Korean uniform worshiping idiots.
