If you are against President Obama on this issue and youre not a big corporate telecom standing to make billions of dollars hand over fist for violating the fundamental freedom principle of the world wide web, then your politics seem moronic. You would be against a President trying to help keep your Internet traffic fair and as jam-free as possible. The people of the USA can help protect the Worldwideweb from exclusive control by oligarchies, and so it should. If government is to have any meaning at all for people (commoners, peasants, working class), then it should protect net neutrality. Now in the 21st century, America has to show it still has some backbone in the freedom ideals that created its government several centuries ago. Thats why I like the quote below, from President Obama. Because I think supporting net neutrality makes good sense. Net neutrality was born with the world wide web. i cant see how im hurt if net-neutrality continues to live on. “‘Net neutrality’ has been built into the fabric of the Internet since its creation — but it is also a principle that we cannot take for granted. We cannot allow Internet service providers (ISPs) to restrict the best access or to pick winners and losers in the online marketplace for services and ideas. That is why today, I am asking the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to answer the call of almost 4 million public comments, and implement the strongest possible rules to protect net neutrality,” said President Obama. youtube/watch?v=uKcjQPVwfDk#t=68
