If you are an Undergraduate Management, Finance, and even Science student and you are lobbying for the way forward in your educational career. Ill advice you to apply for ICAN/ATS Programme. NOTE: Before reading this write up, Im not trying to advertise for ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria) but just to give you an insight for securing a good job. The reason I introduced this Ivan of a thing to you is that after obtaining your ICAN/ATS certificate, it will give you an upper hand over your fellow job seekers. ICAN/ATS Program is all about account related courses, such as Basic Accounting, Processes & Systems, P & P of Financial Accounting, Principles of Auditing, Business Law, Information Technology Management, Economics Quantitative Analysis, Cost Accounting, e.t.c. The ICAN Programs are: 1. ATS is for people that are not yet graduates. It is divided into three, they are ATS 1 ATS 11 and ATS 111. The Exam is usually written in MAR and SEPT each year. 2. ICAN is for graduates, its a professional exam and it also has 3 stages and written in MAY AND NOV each year. The relationship to ATS is that once you pass the ATS you can then be qualified to write the ICAN (remember its for non graduates) the fees are based on the level you are writing, and its always advertised in the Newspaper, towards the exam period. The materials are available from the various tutor houses and ICAN office (ie past questions and pilot the duration is as a result of your successes. However it takes approximately a year and six months to qualify (if you pass each stage\diet---) TRUST Nigerian factor that is if the system will let its people go However, dont be discouraged, they have changed the syllabus and has a credit system now which allows you to get a credit of what you have passed and re- write the failed one. so you have a better Chance now unlike before (cos they have lost many students to ACCA- London, thats why the hurried change of the old system) my advice is that you go for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Though just be ready to study very hard. But the end justifies the means. Also, the. form is just a token, you can goto ican-ng.org. for more enquiries. NOTE: Dont think Im trying to advertise for ICAN but Ive gotten people with testimony after this program. °°°°°°°°°°°°Thanks°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° Yours On Facebook Abatan Samuel
