If you are an electronic geek in India then i am damn sure you have heard of Electronics For You magazine. My first memory of EFY is running to library to read articles and copy circuits in class 9th from it . I was like a huge fan, though it didnt make much sense in 9th but i just loved reading those stuff and staring those circuits (Weird huh? ) .Then in 11th fell in love with their sister magazine Linux For You (now OSFY )( for which i would make daily to trips to local vendor till i get one ). These magazines have always played a role in shaping a budding curious inventor in me (i remember reading about Pranav Mistry for first time and his likeness to this magazine ). They organize a conference called Erock each year revolving around electronics and industry. i couldnt attend these many years for various reasons.But guess what ?? this time i am not only going to attend but also talk there!! Talk what? Well, In previous RHOK hackathon Muthu Raj pitched a need for assistive keyboard to train Visually challenged in computers.This looked like an project with great fun and i have been hacking it and working to make a demo ready. So i will be Talking about my Hack and also about Hardware Open Humanitarian Hacks (Along with Chinmayi Sk and Prathik Pai, who wil also speak about other hardware hacks developed as part of RHOKette NIE ) at EFYs Electronics Rocks 14 s event on 11th Oct at 11:40 at NIMHANS Convention Centre.
