If you are an imported worker or a foreign domestic helper who wishes to submit an extension of stay application with a new employer (change of employer), you can normally select an appointment date up to 4 weeks before the expiry of your current limit of stay. However, if your contract is terminated before the expiry of your current limit of stay, you can select an appointment date up to 4 weeks before the termination date of you current contract, or within 2 weeks after the termination date of the contract provided that the appointment date does not fall after the expiry of your current limit of stay. If you are a foreign domestic helper who wishes to submit an extension of stay application with the same employer, you can select an appointment date up to 8 weeks before the expiry of your current limit of stay.
