If you are at all squeamish, then I apologize ahead of time. This is Trixie. This is the aftermath of the attack from dogs the day before yesterday. The first pic was taken earlier this summer. The second photo is after her procedure this evening to remove her right ear. (The dark stuff staining the area is not blood, but betadine. There was very minimal blood flow which is why it had to be removed.) The 3rd pic is how shes going to look for several weeks. A huge bandage covering her head. There is still a very high probability of infection, but she is on some pretty good antibiotics. Prayers for my little baby girl. She was such a good patient and stood for the nearly thirty minute ordeal of having her ear removed and then scrubbed with betadine.
