First Minnetonka City Bank is Celebrating 50 Years of Service as an independent, locally owned financial institution that provides quality financial products and exceptional personal service to the communities we serve. First Minnetonka City Bank is a great place to work and offers a benefit package including 10 paid holidays per year, insurance benefits and paid-time off. We currently have customer service openings working 40 hours per week in New Accounts/Personal Banking and the Teller line. Positions are full-time and eligible for benefits, holidays and paid-time off. The positions are required to work every other Saturday until 12:30 p.m. with ½ day off during the week. To be eligible for either position, you must be able to work at both of our Minnetonka locations: Glen Lake Office at 14550 Excelsior Blvd and Country Village Office at 11500 Hwy 7. The New Accounts Representative/Personal Banking position is responsible for assisting customers in-person and on the phone with questions concerning bank services and products. Will open, close and maintain accounts including (but not limited to): checking, savings, IRA savings, and certificate of deposits. Assist with cash and check cards, business accounts, and small consumer lines of credit. Open and close safe deposit boxes and maintain documentation for boxes. The new accounts/personal banking position is full-time, 8:30-5:15 Monday-Friday and every other Saturday 8:40-12:30 with ½ day off during the week. Will also be required to attend monthly new accounts meeting at 8:00 a.m. Must be able to work at both bank offices and possibly work two hours weekly at Presbyterian Homes or The Glenn. To be eligible for the New Accounts position, you must have a minimum of one-two years of industry related customer service experience and HS degree, or equivalent. Previous bank experience is preferred. Must be detail orientated and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Teller position processes customer transactions in the lobby and drive-thru including payment and deposit transactions, cashing checks, filling coin orders, cashier’s checks, redeeming U.S. Savings bonds, foreign currency, and balancing cash drawer. Also responsible for providing prompt, courteous and efficient customer service and completing other assigned teller duties. Prior experience as a Sr. Teller is preferred and could lead to promotional opportunities upon successful job performance at the teller level. To be eligible for the teller position, you must have one year of related customer service experience and HS degree, or equivalent. Previous bank experience is desired. Must be detail orientated and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The hours for the teller position vary Monday through Friday between 6:45 a.m. & 6:15 p.m. This position is also required to work every other Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with ½ day off during the week.
