If you are not thinking about Ebola, and planning for the possibility, of a major epidemic, you should be. Prior planning could save your life. Its time to buy hepa masks, gloves, googles, bleach, and put back some food. You may need to isolate you and yours for a while if, and likely when Ebola makes it here. Knowledge is also important, and you best get it now...chicken little you say...well here is the latest CDC projection available online: cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/su63e0923a1.htm?s_cid=su63e0923a1_e Careful reading seems to indicate upwards of 25,000 new cases per day by December or so. just with that growth, assuming no further increase...we will see a million cases in a year. While it is possible that the disease will peak and then go on the decline as other disease have and often do, we are still looking at a worldwide pandemic. Our government will not quarantine the region and will not quarantine here, so it is now not only a possible event here, it is probable.
