I ran into my Junior Secondary French teacher in a cafeteria in Victoria, a few years after I started work with the Ministry of Finance. I asked him what he was doing and he explained that he spent his summers in school at UVic continuing to upgrade. I said, So, you dont get a vacation? and he just laughed at me.
