If you are undecided please have a read at this. I realise I have been posting a lot of No information but I feel strongly about the referendum, partly for social reasons (which this discusses below) and mainly because I think it will be financially disastrous for Scotland. The stock market reacted strongly to the possibility of a yes vote today. You can say it doesnt matter for the fat cat banks and who cares if we lose them. But it is not just those stocks are falling, others closely linked to Scottish business are falling also. The result will be a huge loss of jobs north of the border. I do believe over time Scotland could be successful but the short term (i.e. next 0-15 years) will make it harder for everyone. Its ok if you can afford it but as usual it will be those who cant who will be hardest hit. For me that isnt social justice. For me its too risky that the generation of young people grow up in a situation closer to Spain (youth unemployment at over 50%) rather than Norway or Canada. Are we really willing to take that risk?
