If you didnt know Maynard, you soon would. He loved to talk to people, striking up conversations wherever he was, with perfect strangers, whoever would listen. Usually, you would hear tales of his grandchildren, whom he was always bragging about. You couldnt talk to him without hearing something about a lawnmower, or a snow blower he was tinkering on. He loved fixing things, Mr. Fix it, we called him. He would also tell you about the love of his life, my grandmother, who meant the world to him. He always told people how he traveled so far to find her, and how lucky he was that she followed him home. He always said he was the luckiest man. We were all lucky, actually, to have been apart of his life. Love you Gramp.
