If you didnt know where my roots came from in music this is where it came from, MY MOTHER!!! This was GO-GO music in DC in her time and age along with Trouble Funk in which she was apart of as well as an original member. She is the female back round vocalist on this record. Im bread from it!! This is one of the six albums shes done which also includes signing to Warner Brothers. DO I KNOW FUNK AND GO-GO MUSIC????? HELL YEAH, I WAS RAISED WITH BANDS PLAYING ROUND ME ALL MY LIFE FROM THE DAY I WAS BORN?? DO I UNDERSTAND MUSIC?? HELL YEAH! MY MOTHER IS THE REASON WHY I CAN SING, WHY I WENT TO DUKE ELLINGTON, WHY I HAVE A FOUNDATION IN MUSIC, SHIT SHE WENT TO DUKE ELLINGTON WHEN IT WAS CALLED WESTERN. DO I KNOW THE BUSINESS???
