If you didnt watch the BASS weigh-in you missed it. Got to say, BASS certainly stepped up their game the weigh-in quality was awesome. Ike pulled off one of the most difficult task in fishing by taking home the win on the river he grew up and learned to fish on. Congrats to him and everyone involved in getting BASS to Philly. It was a huge success from what I can see. Tough tournaments are good for the sport, guys posting zeros that normally dont do that isnt a bad thing. Sometimes it is good seeing a tough tournament where guys struggle and big names fall. It shows that they are just like us in the big picture. I really think BASS hit a home run with this event and hopefully learned a little bit about what the fans are looking for. I expect to see a few more of these tough grind it out type tournaments in the future for the Elite Series.
