If you do not think the defict matters and thinks it is ok to print money, why cannot we print the extra money to take care of our veterans? Why are we worried social security is gonna go bankrupt? It does matter because it is backed by OPEC and the american dollar is backed by oil. That is the whole reason we went in on sadam because he was selling oil by the barrel in denara (iraqi dollar). Why do you think we had gaddafi killed by his own people? Because he was selling oil by the barrel with the libyain dollar. These countries were not selling it through OPEC, which again, the american dollar is backed by oil. That is why we are so concerned with russia selling oil to china in rubles/yen. Research it. Now that russia and china are and we did not stop it like in libya and iraq, it shows we are weak. now our money will be worth nothing if no one needs it to buy oil. I know some people will say, oh but the value of the american dollar went up today, but oil prices went down today. When our natural resource, our money maker, is down and our dollar is up is not a good thing. They both need to be up. I cannot tell you what is goin to happen but the u.s. government is lying to its people and are being lead around by its elitist at our expense.
