If you dont believe that we are, every day, responsible as spiritual/psychological practitioners, for showing up in deepest personal inquiry, in order to turn our growing understanding into activism off the mat, just watch what happens when the inner split in all of us manifests across an angry, frightened, shame infused electorate, showing up (or not) at the poles across the country today. Concepts like ahimsa, satya and asteya are real world life choices with powerful impact on the shape of the world we live and love in. Our vote is a statement about our understanding of the universal human dilema. Are we aware that we are all in this together? That we rise and fall together? That our future is shaped by our open hearts and every choice we make right now, in this moment? Or not... Im voting for the possibility of wholeness, always.
