If you dont listen to focus on the family, I urge you to get that handy little app for your phone. Im continually being convicted by their program. (Im not listening to this one now; not the program the quote below came from, but if you have time, the two part series on Helping kids relate in a screen-driven world is well worth your time.) Dont go to Facebook to vent. Dont go to social media. Take those primary emotions to the Lord, deal with them. What am I feeling right now? Allow Him to wake you up at 3 in the morning to deal with these primary emotions and to process them. But all your gonna do when you take this out to the world wide web is build anger in other people and I think thats the hard part for me with social media and stuff today as it is just feeding this anger in our culture. It is like ok, Im gonna put this anger out there, and then Im gonna see how many people support it and like it and theyre angry with the same thing Im angry with; and theyre gonna comment on it...that is just not healthy for my soul.
