If you dont love Australia, leave Its been used as a saying in the past that if you dont fit into a stereotype of white, Christian, flag waving, footy watching, snag eating, solely English speaking people, then you dont truly love Australia and should leave. It also is used to label anyone willing to question their government, or protest against unjust laws. They are told they dont love Australia because they have the crazy notion that our country isnt perfect and could be better. Patriotism isnt defending the honour of your country even when its wrong, if people truly love their country they try to make it a better place. To love Australia is to love ALL of it, to accept we are made up of many peoples of many walks of life. That apart from the aboriginal community we are all immigrants, if not ourselves, then through our forefathers. Its a shirt that says conform to my vision of Australia, or I dont want to know you. There couldnt be a more unAustralian shirt slogan.
