If you dont understand, you arent in the position to say the three words people use without inhibition, but should be used as though you were Pablo Neruda. Love is not blind. Love is judgemental while being accepting, fervent one day and a dull ache the next. Love is tumultuous, relentless in its conquests. Love is a tyrannical leader disguised as Mother Theresa. Love is more painful as it grows, like the malignant tumor you never thought youd stare into the face of. Love is the fleeting beats of your significant others heart, each beat a different rhythm, a different level of strength from the one before, and the next. Love is the complete absence of arrogance, but total awareness of Self. Love is making love with your shirt off and the lights on, leaving yourself frightened and vulnerable, because that vulnerability is the only place where youre genuinely safe.
