If you dont want your business to be successful, do this..... I signed up at Golds Gym to supplement the workouts that I do with Michael Bistany at EFX/Fitness Revolution. When I met with the head trainer to book my free assessment he asked me if I worked out already. When I told him that I did and also told him where I worked out, instead of saying something like oh thats cool, we could help you out in addition to what you already do he took the my guys are better than those guys approach which instantly was a turn off. Fast forward to this morning, my appointment for the assessment, I show up on time, he forgets my name (even though it was written down in his appointment book) and then while telling me how awesome his guys are, again plays the my guys are better than they guys you work out with card. For good measure he shows me all of their laminated certificates to impress (it didnt). We work out, I ran out of gas (didnt eat prior to working out, my fault) and he stops the workout. I assumed that he would give me my assessment, cause that is why Im there, nope he puts me on the elliptical to cool off, tries to get me to blow off training at EFX and commit to training there instead. Once I tell him that wont happen, he says nothing and walks away. I finish my cool down and go back to his office to get my keys and the only thing he says is if you need help, let us know Never got any sort of assessment. Even if they were the only trainers left on the planet, there is no way Id pay them anything. This is a great way to run a business if you dont want any clients. Good job Golds.....
