If you enter vaping contests, this may be the most useful post you ever read. Read it, share it, and add comments with your advice below. So, today i won (yay!) and then i got jumped on by a bunch of jealous jerks accusing me of cheating, calling me horrible names, and inevitably got me put in fb jail for the next week. When these individuals were talking their shit i realized that the reason they arent winning is because they are doing it wrong... So, Instead of retaliating, being pissed off, or getting butt hurt... I am offering my advice, consultation, and my secrets to winning :) 1. Seriously FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. it is so sad... But so many of you are trying to enter so many contests that you dont even read the instructions. (Ive been guilty of this myself). Its funny, but i can never tell you who will win each contest, but there are some times when it is pretty obvious that certain people will not win because they didnt follow instructions. 2. This is the most most important advice, and i am still surprised to see this daily (2 of the shit talking dicks were guilty of this one today). Your account must be public. Your posts must be made public on every share! Otherwise, vendors cannot see it and will not know you entered the contest. 3. You have to like, share, and comment on the original post. Not the post in a group. Not the post a friend shared. The ORIGINAL. click the post or the picture to get to the original post. 4. Share. The vendors are not giving away their products for free. The reason vendors offer contests is for exposure to grow their business. They are requesting our services as their marketers for exchange in the possibility of earning a chance at winning their wares. Sometimes vendors choose the people who help them grow their business the most to win. 5. If a vendor requests interaction during the contest process they do not want to hear your sob story or vulgarity. What they are looking for is positivity. They are looking for a way that you can shine a positive light on their business. If they ask for a vaping meme, they would love to see something that positively spotlights their product. Same goes with handchecks, or random photo contests. They dont want to see another vendors products in those pictures... They want to see their own products. (Seriously thinking that posting stuff about dick sucking will win is just plain psycho!) 6. Vendors want to get their products into the hands of people who will give them positive feedback. Not many of you may know this, but when a vendor looks at your fb account, they can see how many reviews you have left for products, how many were positive and how many were negative. No vendor is going to want to touch a customer with a 10 foot pole if all they do is spread negativity online. (One of the guys talking shit today has left over 8 bad reviews and 0 good reviews... Wonder why hes not winning more?) 7. Friends and groups. Fact: some vendors (who pay for the services) can see how many people see, respond to, comment on, and react to your share of their contest. ... those vendors want to see who is responsible for the most exposure. (Hurricane vapors is one of those using this service) This one is only a theory based on facts, but it would appear to me that the more friends you have on your page, the more people who see your shares, and therefore your reach is larger. (All of.your friends fall into this count even if they never see your post) Groups have less affect on that exposure since those #s only count who actually clicks on your share as opposed to the # of people who actually see it. 8. Be patient. This can be said for every aspect. I recently seen people riding poor venders daily. I won on friday, and its monday... Wheres my free juice? is not going to get you anything! You are just ruining your chances of getting anything that way. Be nice to the venders, they are normal people with busy lives. If you are kind and understanding about their delays they are more likely to make up for their delay by throwing in extra juice or something... But if you keep being a dick... They just arent going to send you anything. Ive waited 4 months for a win once, and they felt bad and threw in a mod. They dont owe you anything... So be nice. 9. Be nice to other vapers. Sore losers are seen by the industry. Most venders have employees who have personal fb accounts, and see everything that the contesters do. They see you when you are shit talking each other... And they want nothing to do with you. 10. Stop being a dick to someone for winning. They are not cheating... There is no way to cheat!! Instead, become friends with that person, because they might be able to teach you something. All in all, vendors are reaching out to you to be their marketing team. Be professional, courteous, up beat, and positive and you will win more often. Anyone who has taken the time to talk to me already knows the above, and a lot of people who started off as strangers to me, have become my friend over time because i have seen them struggling at entering contests and i have stopped and taken the time to show them how to do it right :) So all in all, i am not that lucky, i am not cheating; you are just doing it wrong, but i still love ya!
