If you ever wake up yelling in the middle of the night from a nightmare about the house being on fire, take a few minutes to regroup and tell the other people you woke up that it’s okay, it was just a bad dream. Then turn your mp3 player back on and try to relax while Ella Fitzgerald scats through “Blue Skies”, John Lennon sings to you about the nature of “Love, and Brent Spiner tells you all about how lovely “Carolina” is in the morning (that cheeky devil). By the time the Beatles are done telling you to just “Let It Be”, you should be ready to drift off again as The Casinos sing “Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye”. Now, it should be noted that if Derek and The Dominos start going on about “Layla” right after that, the opening guitar riff could wake you back up. But, Clapton is king, so who the hell’s complaining?
