If you feel indecisiveness, hesitation or confusion (that occurs mainly due to the dominance of selfishness in you at that time), then to remove element of selfishness (i.e. for making the right decision) you should go for objective reasoning and assess your circumstances and the probable outcome of your action on humanity at large including you, you will find the right answer. For practical arithmetical calculation, you should consider every person, including you, as one unit of equal value and then calculate arithmetically, the decision for the betterment of the majority. Your decision must be for greatest happiness to the greatest number, only then it will be the right one. It is the practical democratic approach.
