If you go to a restaurant and you spend so much time taking photos - TopicsExpress

If you go to a restaurant and you spend so much time taking photos of your food with your cellphone or camera that your food goes cold and then you send it back to the kitchen to reheat it: Welcome to the Dickhead Club. Do you even realize how inconsiderate it is to bog down a busy kitchen with that kind of request, because YOU spent 10-15 minutes with your fellow table mates taking photos of your food? If you go out to eat with me, you have 3-5 minutes tops to get a picture of your food. And if you grab my plate without asking to take a picture, you are going to draw back a bloody hand with a fork in it... ok maybe not, but Im going to give you a side eye and contemplate our friendship and possibly never invite you out to eat with me again. And yes, I realize just how BIZARRE my rant sounds, since I am a food photographer by trade. And yes I do take pictures of food until it goes cold - but that is usually for a JOB and I do not send it back to the kitchen for a re-heat. I get the shot, I leave. Im ok with people doing a quick check-in, take a quick snap of the food... but you got a couple minutes to get that done before I become annoyed. But when I go out to be social, and the person I am with has their head buried in a phone... yeah... NOT OK. Technology has made many of us forget how to be considerate when out in public. Dont be a member of the Dickhead Club. themetapicture/people-kept-complaining-this-restaurant-sucked-look-what-they-found-out/?utm_content=buffer835f0&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter&utm_campaign=buffer
