If you good folks will bear with me, I want to testify this morning. I thank God that He has taken a nobody from nowhere and used me in a way that He wanted. I was a failure and on my way to hell. I was consumed in Me. The Lord showed GREAT MERCY and Love. He called me to preach at the age of 19, I ran from that calling almost 20 years. I was miserable, and trying to fulfill my life outside of that calling. O how I wish I had not wasted those precious years. What i feared the most , God turned into a wonderful Joy. As I have grown older I realize the time wasted and let slipped away, could have been used for Him and his Glory. He has allowed me to Pastor four great churches. So many memories, some many good times, so many Great people. A I grow older My desire is stronger than ever to Lift up His Name. My strength is not what it used to be. Blood pressure, sugar, those things called triglisiries, ( Spelling) LOL. take a toll on my strength. I want to burn out for Jesus, and not rust out. To all my former and present church people and wonderful friends. Thank you for loving me. Pray for me that His Words will live on through me. I close this with the words of an old song , sang by a wonderful friend, Mr. Jimmy Hancock, He looked beyond my faults and saw my needs.Wish Icould do it all over again.
