If you have a lot of clients, why would you need a second job? Why - TopicsExpress

If you have a lot of clients, why would you need a second job? Why would you want to work at Hooters, why not a different restaurant? These are questions I am asked frequently. First and for most, I dont see any problem with working at Hooters, you know the saying dont judge a book by its cover this is one of the situations it applies too. So many people stereo type because of the name but if you have never worked there or have not had someone close to you work there that would make sense to your stereotype. To set the record straight NO we dont go to work flaunting ourselves to get better tips nor do we flaunt having big boobs (thankyou VS for making a bra for us small chested people look like we have some) we work there because its fun... I have worked at a few restaurants In my life and I have never had a bond with my coworkers like I do with these girls. When u see girls that work for the Hooters company say they are like family, its true...and u will never understand it unless you have done it. As for my career, I am a very successful hairstylist and I work my ass off furthering my career and gaining more clientele, just because I choose to have a second job doesnt mean I am not successful within my business. I work at Hooters because I want too. Its nice to have a cushion when times or tough or its slow season in the hair industry, not only that I need a back up plan if Winnie needs any future surgeries. Anyone who wants to judge me or belittle me because of it, go for it and please completely take me out of your life because i dont need to justify myself to small minded people. People that have the time to judge others for their personal life choices need to reevaluate their own and remind themselves everyone is different and your way you do things doesnt mean its the only way... I LOVE HOOTERS (lol okay I feel better)
