I have many people in our community and - now - people in four cities across the Country agreeing to step forward. The beauty of this is that it happens every year . . . so we can develop it over a long period of years. And we will learn and improve it as we go. Not to mention it will help da Chilluns ! If you would like to do more than hand out healthy goodies . . . then think about how to get others in your community involved. Over time, we will build an identity . . . and start early every year . . . and approach businesses, groups, churches and schools . . . and offer to promote them if they help - or even if they just offer organic treats. I will help people do that for other communities and give them the art work for promos and posters for people to print out and put up . . . so the community NOTICES and the kids can find them. All we did was put out signs and give organic goodies last year . . . and we had several families who said this is the ONLY place we are trick or treating. That’s what made it so clear that this was an idea whose time has come. So lemmekno if you need help. I am calling this the “2nd Annual” - and I will start even earlier next year to spread the word and sign up people to help and support. I have enlisted the help of a guy who sends out a news letter to about 3,000 people on Kauai. I have made him the primary sponsor and will always promote him. He is sending out a promo to his list once a week and then he will send out the “Map of Treats” a couple times during the week of Halloween. I am doing a similar thing with a friend of mine who does internet marketing. He has a mailing list of over 100,000 people who are INTO SPIRIT. He is doing this just to help out - and I will also always promote him as one of the primary sponsors.
