If you have children aged between 3 and 15, why not introduce them to a new skill at one of our Smock Clubs and if you book before 8pm on Sunday 15th September, you will receive 10% of your course fee. About the Smock Clubs: In the creative environment of the Smock Club there will be the opportunity to ‘create, make and play’ in the series of workshop sessions run by our passionate and creative tutors, Jitka Schacherlova and Kathy Mason. Workshops will be programmed for children in different age ranges: 3-5yrs, 5-7yrs and 8-15yrs. Over the course of ten weeks children will be learning the basics of the main ceramics techniques, such as modelling, extruding, pinching and building with coils. They will also be taught the spectrum of decorating techniques. Creating three-dimensional forms, creatures and curious art forms leads to an improvement of modelling skills and inspiration for both independent creation and group projects all around a central fantasy theme.
