If you have children, grandchildren, or know of any young people, seeking summer jobs, have them apply to the Youth Employment Program of the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority (ICJIA) Community Violence Prevention Program (CVVP). The program provides 1,800 young people ages 16 to 24 with job training, mentoring, and summer employment with businesses and community organizations throughout Chicago and suburbs.
