If you have come to that place where you have realized you cant stop sinning, nor save yourself from eternal death, but instead, you called on the name of Jesus, to ask Him for mercy, and the grace to continue to put all your trust in Him, as Savior; this faith in what Jesus did, in dying on the cross and raising from the dead three days later, is totally sufficient to secure your salvation. God has given you right standing with Him and the Kingdom of God. You are a child of God and have been given His Spirit, that gives you the confidence you have been born of Gods Spirit and have been put into Christ.
