If you have ever read Hitlers Mein Kampf ( My Struggle), you would see that he blamed all of Germanys problems on the Jewish people, who happened to be among the more affluent members of German society after WWI. While he also singled out other causes, he promoted the Jewish problem as the biggest reason for Germanys ills. His Final Solution left no room for compromise. He did not negotiate with anyone. He said it was his way...he didnt even offer the highway. In 2013 America, we have democratic and some republican leaders painting conservatives with demonic tones, blaming them for all kinds of problems. In 1917 Russia, Lenin and Trotsky isolated the wealthy as the enemy of the workers. Occupy Wall Street did the same. Whether you are a liberal or a conservative or somewhere in between, PLEASE do not condone or tolerate this kind of dialogue by our elected officials. If you do, you can rest assured that someday their venom will be directed at you. Thats the way despots and tyrants operate. Nothing matters except their retention of powers....and NO ONE gets in the way of that!
