If you have ever wondered what people get up to at Cadizs famous Carnival, this is one of the most popular events. It is the opening night of the Chrigotas competition at the citys Gran Teatro Falla. Chirigotas are satirical musical groups that sing parodies, normally about current political events or famous people. Just watch the first performance (an interesting take on the Enrique Iglesias hit). You wont understand a lot (few people born outside Cadizs city walls often dont!!!), but it will give you a bit of a taste of El Carnaval de Cádiz!
