If you have gone through the photos on my wall, then you must have seen one of a very fat man with a bushy beard. Those who know him call him Ricky Ross. He is a hiphop star. Some time back, I used to be a hiphop maniac. I really loved hiphop. I did not love hiphop because ot the saggy jeans and heavy bling the rappers wore. Rather I loved listening to how the rappers would brag im words. Anyone who loves hiphop will agree with me that these rappers are usually so full of themselves. They proudly talk about who they are, what they can do and what they have. In one song RickyRoss says, ...I have a chopper in the car...haha! Surely how possible is that? I love the way these guys believe and are proud of themselves. Despite the discrimination they face as blacks, they are still bold to talk about how great they are without fear of what people might think or say. Even though they exaggerate them, the message is usually clear. Love and appreciate yourself, who you are. So in that light, I also want to brag about myself. Allow me to brag, atleast for today :-P . I am patient. I have that ability to wait. Over the years I have learnt to be patient with people and with progress too. I am talented and proud of it. I have power in my fingers more than anyone has in their entire body. I can write in words, what a camera can capture in pictures. Does it ever go to my head? How can it when it is a gift from God? I received it as a good steward. I have polished it. God is pleased- and praised at the same time. I have faith. Jesus said that if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you will say to a mountain, move and it will move. My faith is as big as a hot-air balloon! So you can imagine what I am capable of :-D I am a lover. Yes I also have a soft spot for someone in my heart. Just like any humanbeing in love, I also use the 3 magic words regularly (I love you) hehe! Musa Juma sang, (Weche gi nochako chon ndalo Adam gi Awa- These things began long ago with Adam and Eve). So I am just following my ancestors footsteps :-) This list would be incomplete without my family. My irreplacables. My parents and siblings. To me, my family is a garden of beautiful flowers that God waters every morning. I thank Him for them. So now that I have bragged, let me shift back to the humble corner. Find me seated down there...down to earth haha! am just thinking
