If you have had to pull out of a comp because you werent ready, or you arent happy with your current body fat levels you cant afford to be so narrow minded as to simply put it in caloric terms. There are root causes as to why you are not lean. So here are some questions that you must ask yourself so that I can help you find your answers...... why is it so hard to balance calorie input with output? What prevents you from eating better and exercising more (or less) Why is it hard for you to put into practice stuff that you already actually know? What emotional and psychological factors are blocking you from succeeding? Is your physical or social environment sabotaging you? Could some of the information I think I know about exercise and nutrition be inaccurate and wrong? Was the last diet or comp prep too complex to apply consistently with success? Was my last prep too extreme to stay on long enough to make stage? Were you able to reach your goal but unable to maintain it (not so much stage, but certainly for those not doing shows). When you start ton ask these types of questions you start to realise that body fat isnt an isolated issue, but rather a bundles of physical, mental, emotional and social problems producing a single physical symptom. So removing body fat and getting lean will never be solved by diet alone. It is far more complex than that. Happy Monday FIO girls.
