If you have heard the story of the DFW bride (Neely) who has gone to the news about her images being held hostage over a cover, here is the other side of the story. Andrea attempted to take the high road and stay quiet, but she no longer could because of the threats and lies to her personally and to her business. I do not know the photographer personally, but many of us in the local industry support her, and she has a great reputation until this event. I have seen the emails that she mentions, but is nice enough not to show, where she did offer a free cover to this bride as well as her images before she was ever contacted by the news, but instead the bride decided to be viscous, and lie to take down a small local business to apparently get her own blog publicity. This is so sad that one person can literally destroy a business overnight by lies and social media.
