If you have lost or found a dog or know someone who has, have them call their local DCO and the local shelters. Craigslist is NOT good enough. Preferably, found dogs should be turned in to the shelter. We have had two cases recently where dogs that had been missing for extended periods were located by their owners after extended missing periods. We will also say that one of those dogs showed evidence of good care in the meantime, probably meaning that someone held on to it without a report. A found dog is not your dog.
