If you have lost your dog or other companion animal due to the tornadoes of April 28, please contact us ASAP. We have heard that some Good Samaritans have been collecting the stray animals from the areas most affected by the storms, we ask that you contact us ASAP as well. We will take in the stray or abandoned animals from our county and take the best care of them that we can. Strays and abandoned animals have always been welcome here, and we are more than ready to help the animals lost through the storm find their way home. There is no charge to bring in a stray, all we ask is that you give us as much information about the location you found the animal and any circumstances surrounding you collecting him or her. We hold onto that animal until we have found their owners, especially those animals affected by the storms. If you are calling in a missing companion or a found animal, please give us as much information as you can. If you do not know the specific breed, a thorough description should suffice. We have access to a microchip scanner and would be more than willing to scan any found strays in case they have microchipping to relocate their owners. Please contact us if you need any help caring for the lost and missing animals affected by the storms. Though we do not have the manpower to collect all of these animals, we will accept them from the public to help reunite owner with best furry friend. Our number is 931-433-3726. We are open most days from 9am-4pm to take in any found strays. If you are calling and we are not in, please leave a detailed message with your contact information so we can call you back in the chance we know where that dog is or belongs. Thank you and we wish everyone luck finding their missing pets.
