If you have some time check out this story from California highlighting the disconnect between real farmers and the peanut gallery farming critics, who hold up all day in air conditioned rooms or coffee bars pimping out articles and blog posts with little to no understanding about the subject they write. It kind of reminds me of the so-called war journalists who sat in coffee houses in Manhattan and D.C. reporting on Iraq with the information furnished by their paid Iraqi runners via cellphones. Just an side for the those not in the know about farming: there is going to be a food shortage and its not going to be because of GMO. While big food companies will play their role, the real reason is mounting government regulation, (ding ding) meaning big government, meaning an inept Congress, But this march for more and more regulations is being furthered by these turds who write propaganda pieces just as much as Monsanto that control the regulatory agency where the rules are created.
