If you have switched to chicken because you want to eat healthier and lose weight, think again. Eighteen years ago I gave up all mammal meat. My primary meat then became chicken. I lost weight right after giving up mammal meat, but then started getting fat again. Before becoming Vegan March 2013, my 59 frame was hauling around 183 pounds of chicken fat from eating the chicken you see on the right. Since becoming Vegan last March and giving up all animal products (including this fatty chicken of course), I have lost 34 pounds and most days my weight is 149 pounds. I dont care how much I tried to cut back, while still eating chicken, I just kept getting Fatter and FATTER! Believe me, I know from personal experience that chicken is NOT a health food!!!
