If you have the action on the streets from Ferguson and it is spreading, why would the president throw another log on the fire the same week?” Beck asked. “Why, Mr. President? Please just explain this to the American people. Why does this have to happen now? Why would you choose this now? I want to believe the best in you. I want to believe that we don’t want to tear the republic apart. Domestic tranquility.” “This is not the time to come out with an executive order, one that you said you couldn’t defend,” Beck added. “Why would you do it on the same week as Ferguson?” Glenn Beck speaks on his radio program, Nov. 18, 2014. (Photo: TheBlaze TV) Beck said the president never met with the Tea Party, and disparagingly referred to them as “tea baggers,” yet in a meeting with Rev. Al Sharpton and others earlier this month, he encouraged Ferguson protesters to stay “on course, in terms of pursuing what it was that he knew we were advocating,” Sharpton recounted. Beck said Trayvon Martin was already “used” in attempt to foment unrest, and “at some point, they’ll find the tripwire.” “It will just overwhelm the system,” Beck said. “Let’s look for justice and reconciliation, not vengeance or revenge. Not out of anger. Where is the president on this?”
