If you have the chance and/or capability, make it a point to thank a meteorologist tomorrow (regardless of what news channel you watch). When a metro gets a record 5 inches of rain (and going), hail, 80 mph winds and tornadoes in just over 5 hours, they are the only ones who can make it make sense to keep you safe. Too many times, a large majority of the general public gives tv meteorologists a hard time with the old Wish I could be wrong and still keep my job routine. Frankly, that is an old, tired and outdated joke. So if its not your cup of tea, change the channel or turn it off all together. ....and truthfully, the general public couldnt do the damn meteorologist job anyway at any time. But it is apparently fun for some to armchair quarterback about everything. May I say....well done to all major networks in the state today. You all are fine professionals.
