If you havent already checked it out on our Instagram page, this is what the Freckled Fitness girls got up to today: Hill sprints!! Why you should do them: 1. They help to strengthen the muscles of the posterior chain (lower-back, glutes, hamstrings and calves) 2. During hill sprints you are forced to lean forwards which teaches you proper running mechanics. 3.You burn a ton of calories 4. You finish with a pretty good feel good factor once you have completed your set. 5. They contribute towards improving your total body speed and power. Need we say more!!
