If you havent gotten the message from my posts or from speaking to me in person, the big issue I am having here is with The 6 Week Challenge. Even though there were other issues at The Camp that made me unhappy, the real deal breaker was the 6 week challenge. Now, before I go into the why of this, I want you to know this: If you have done a challenge or are currently doing a challenge, know that I do not think less of you! It is great to take steps to committing to a healthy lifestyle! I do not like this challenge because I truly believe that you are being misled and taken advantage of. Yes it is true that many of you lose the 20lbs in 6 weeks, but almost every single person gains at least half if not all of that weigh back. Now, if this has happened to you, you probably blamed yourself. You probably fell off the strict clean eating meal plan, skipped a week of working out, had a giant binge cheat meal after the challenge was over that made you gain 10lbs back...or something else. The sad thing is, that during the entire challenge, the word FTDI is thrown in your face so many times, that you are conditioned to believe that if you dont get results, its your fault. Its because YOU didnt work hard enough, its because YOU didnt work out enough, its because YOU were too lazy and didnt want it bad enough. Oh, you cant eat tilapia? suck it up. Oh your work schedule is too busy to do two or three classes a day and you have 3 kids at a home and your a single mother, I guess youre not that serious and dont want it bad enough. Im sorry, but putting those ideas into peoples heads is incredibly damaging to their confidence and value of themselves. Yes it is true that if you want results, you are going to have to make time to work out and you are going to have to change the way you eat, but if these things begin to CONSUME your life than it is even more damaging to you than the weight! Here are the three things that I am going to go over that I had a HUGE problem with, Now remember these are my personal opinions as I am not a doctor or nutritionist, but I will discuss each of these: 1. THEIR WAY of clean eating 2. The lose as much as possible, as fast as possible mentality 3. Last week weight loss boost- its ridiculous! 4. The supplements they force on you
